Ba Na Hills Resort in the central city of Danang will bring into service a cable car system that links the base with the top of Ba Na Mountain in the region from March 25, after 14 months of construction and test running

From 28th to 29th April 2009, Vietnam Airlines in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vietnam Consulate General to France will organize the Vietnam Beach Vacation Festival 2009 at Pierre Cardin Fashion Centre in Paris.

Only a one hour flight from HCM City, it’s South East Asia’s last large undeveloped island paradise. The north comprises mountainous rainforest, waterfalls, rickety bridges, wild beaches and pepper plantations. Take the coast road south and you’re in for a treat. Miles of natural, windswept beach coastline, fishermen’s huts and the occasional herd of cows. The southeast hides its secrets.

The event attracts the concern of tourism sectors and tourism corporations from different countries who want to look for chances of business co-operation and advertise their products. This is also an opportunity to popularise the land and people as well as history and culture of Vietnamese people to international friends and investors...

Cholontourist Company said they reduced some tours by US$50- $60 and the company was considering reducing its profit margins in order to keep regular customers.

Some smaller tour companies are in even an even more grave situation. They said they used to take an average of 20 to 30 groups each month but now numbers had dwindled to just two or three groups a month.

 

About 30 sightseeing highlights for each country will be listed in the 40-page book.

The guide will also detail food, accommodation and development projects in the three countries.
